You, our member, have spoken – and we’ve heard you loud & clear! You’ve approved our proposed merger with SPIRE Credit Union, and we’re moving ahead to our January 1, 2024 legal merge date.
What's Next
As a Hiway member, you already have the ability to visit any SPIRE branch to complete your basic teller transactions! Please have your member number ready and let SPIRE staff know you’re a Hiway member. Please note that for more complex needs such as loans, new accounts and account changes, continue to visit Hiway branches and/or contact us via the same channels you're used to.
On January 1, 2024, we will officially be one entity, with a new name and brand, and all our shared assets, liabilities, and capital will be combined. We will operate many systems separately for a while, and SPIRE members will (likely fall 2024) be moving onto Hiway’s core system and digital banking platform. We will be communicating early and often as we lay out specific timing.

Greater convenience. Hiway’s 4 existing branches will remain open, and our new network of 26 locations — throughout the metro & beyond — will offer a mix of traditional teller lines and tech-forward ITMs.

A generally seamless transition. Hiway members will not need to convert to new core or digital banking systems, meaning you’ll be able to keep your account numbers and login credentials.
