Need to transfer money from one financial institution (FI) account to another? A wire transfer can be one of the quickest and safest ways to get your money where it needs to go.

Sending a Wire Transfer

To expedite a wire transfer from one of your Hiway accounts to another FI please gather the following information prior to calling:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your Hiway member number
  • The Hiway account to withdraw from
  • The amount you wish to transfer
  • Name and address of FI
  • The FI's wiring instructions
  • Name and address of person receiving the wire
  • Account number to make the deposit to
  • Any special instructions to transmit with the wire

Funds for an outgoing wire transfer must be available in the account/deposit cleared prior to sending the wire. This excludes any cash deposits or electronic deposits into your account.

Receiving a Wire Transfer

To ensure that you receive a wire transfer being sent to you, you will need to provide the sender with the following information:

International Wire Transfers

Wire transfers to foreign accounts will require an additional number called a SWIFT code as well. We are able to send these wire transfers in either foreign currency or U.S. dollars.

Wire Transfer Fees

There is no charge to receive an incoming wire transfer. Fees for outgoing transfers vary, so please contact us at 651.291.1515 or 800.899.5626 for current rates.
