Hiway Credit Union Foundation, an independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization established by Hiway Credit Union® (Hiway), raised more than $109,000 at the credit union’s Fifth Annual Curling Fundraising Event.

The event was held at the St. Paul Curling Club on November 3, 2022. Over 100 business and community partners, including Minnesota credit union representatives and educators, attended the event to enjoy a curling competition, lunch buffet, raffle, and silent auction. Profits from the event benefit financial wellbeing and the development of life skills for underserved youth in the community.

“The Hiway Foundation was established to formalize our philanthropic efforts and enhance our focus on strengthening the communities we serve,” said Christine Cordell, Hiway Senior Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness and Hiway Credit Union Foundation Board Chair. “We are humbled by the support around this event, and the direct impact on the financial wellbeing of the underserved youth in our communities. We are grateful for all those who contributed to this record-breaking event. The St. Paul Curling Club is always an excellent host, focused on ensuring attendees of all skill levels fall in love with the sport! It is truly an electric day with our business partners and our credit union friends, designed to make a lasting impact.”
