Hiway will be closed on Columbus Day/Indigenous Peoples' Day, Monday, October 11 to participate in a community give-back effort with other credit unions from Minnesota.

Our Pave the Way Day is part of CU Forward Day, where credit unions come together to spread kindness. It’s exciting to see how many lives we can touch in a single day when we come together and demonstrate the credit union philosophy of “people helping people.” CU Forward Day, coordinated by the Minnesota Credit Union Network, is a day dedicated to community service projects and volunteer opportunities that will impact Minnesotans and showcase the true power of collaboration.

Hiway associates will be making a positive impact in the communities we serve by preparing and packing meals for Feed my Starving Children and Every Meal, making sandwiches for Love One Another, cleaning up gardens and planting Fall bulbs for Urban Roots, cleaning up along the roadsides of Minnesota highways, assembling baskets for Cradle of Hope, making fleece tie blankets for Kids in Need and so much more!

Be sure to watch our social media channels for pictures and stories of our associates in action.

We look forward to having a fun day making a positive impact in our community.
