Join Hiway's Pave the Way team in the spirit of giving this holiday season. We have two opportunities to give during this time:
Collecting November 28 - December 9, 2016
We are partnering with 5 Eyewitness News, 45tv and the Minneapolis and Saint Paul Police Federation to collect unwrapped new toys to be given to deserving children at various police and community events within the Twin Cities communities.
Collecting November 25 - December 23, 2016
We will be collecting new unworn hats, gloves, mittens, socks and coats to benefit children of Project REACH and the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV).
Project REACH is a Saint Paul Public Schools shelter and street-based program that promotes school stability and academic success of homeless children and youth. They serve pre-K and school age children who are in temporary housing situations.
MACV is a nonprofit organization that has been assisting veterans for over 25 years. Each year MACV receives more than 25,000 contacts, inquiries and requests from veterans across the state. In 2014, MACV comprehensively served 1,810 veterans and their families throughout Minnesota who were homeless or experiencing a crisis that could lead to homelessness—and the need for services continues to rise.
