  • Medical and Dental Insurance
    • Available to eligible employees after 30 days of employment
    • Provides comprehensive health coverage
    • Low copays and deductibles
    • Extensive network of providers
    • Full-time employees pay five percent of individual coverage and 15 percent of family coverage
    • Coverage available to part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week and their families at prorated premiums
  • Flexible Spending Accounts
    • Available to eligible employees after 30 days of employment
    • Two types of plans:
      1. Allows you to set aside pretax dollars for medical expenses not covered by insurance
      2. Allows you to set aside pretax dollars for childcare and dependent care expenses
  • Long Term Disability Insurance
    • Available to all regular full-time and part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week after 30 days of employment
    • Company paid
    • Pays 66 2/3 of your income after you are disabled for 90 days
  • Short Term Disability Insurance
    • Available to all regular full-time and part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week after 30 days of employment
    • Employee paid
    • Pays 60 percent of your income after you have been disabled for seven days due to an ailment, and has no waiting period if you are injured
  • Life Insurance
    • Available to all regular full-time and part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week after 30 days of employment
    • Pays a benefit of 2 1/2 times your earnings up to $250,000
    • Beneficiaries receive double-indemnity in case of accidental death and dismemberment
    • $2,000 in coverage for your spouse and each dependent
    • Supplemental coverage available for yourself and your family at competitive rates
  • Pension
    • Available to employees who complete over a 1,000 hours of service in a plan year
    • Eligible after 35 days of employment
    • 100 percent Hiway funded
    • Pays a guaranteed benefit upon retirement or upon leaving Hiway based on income and years of service
    • Hiway contributes over 10 percent of employee incomes per year to the plan
    • Employees vested over seven years per the following schedule:

      3 Years 20%
      4 Years 40%
      5 Years 60%
      6 Years 80%
      7 Years 100%
  • 401k
    • Available to regular full-time and regular part-time employees who complete over a 1,000 hours of service in a plan year
    • Eligible after 35 days of employment
    • Allows you to set aside funds pre-tax for use in retirement
    • Employee funded
    • Variety of investment options allow you to be fully diversified
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
    • Regular full-time and regular part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for PTO.
    • PTO is granted on your start date and can be used immediately.
    • At the beginning of each calendar year, you receive a PTO grant based on your years of service.
    • PTO may be used for any reason.
    • Up to 480 PTO hours can be rolled over from year-to-year.
  • Paid Holidays
    • Regular full-time employees and regular part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week
    • Available from the first day of employment
    • Paid time off for the following holidays:

      New Year's Day
      Martin Luther King Day
      Presidents' Day
      Memorial Day
      Independence Day
      Labor Day
      Veterans Day
      Thanksgiving Day
      Christmas Day
  • Interest Free Personal Computer Loan
    • Regular, full-time employees eligible after one year of employment
    • Provides a computer loan interest free
  • Educational Assistance
    • Regular full-time employees eligible following one year of employment
    • Reimburses the costs related to a certified degree program related to your job or a future job at Hiway
    • Reimbursements must be fully or partially repaid if you leave employment within a specified period of time
  • Employee Assistance Services
    • Available to employees enrolled in Hiway's medical insurance
    • Offers a variety of services including psychological, legal and financial referrals and counseling, crisis intervention, work/life services, elder care, adoption assistance, childcare, education and daily living services
  • Investment Consulting
    • Available to all employees from the first day of employment
    • Hiway's licensed financial advisors will meet with you free of charge
    • Provide investment and insurance guidance
