Online Security, Everyday, Everywhere

Your online security is always a top priority. That's why Enhanced Login Security is so important. This security service is free, easy, and most importantly, gives you extra protection from fraud and identity theft. You can take a quick tour of this service with our Enhanced Login Security demo.

Getting Enrolled

Sign up once, set up your "challenge questions" and you're all set. It's that simple: the next time you log in, its business as usual. And the rest of your online banking experience will remain exactly the same.

Enrolling a Computer/Browser:

  1. Log in to TellernetSM with your member number and password.
  2. Click Continue on the prompt screen for Enhanced Login Security, or click the User Options button on the left and then click on Enhanced Login Security.
  3. On the Enhanced Login Security Screen, leave the first (default) radio button selected and click on Submit.
  4. Click OK on the popup window that is displayed. A secure cookie will be placed in your browser identifying your computer.
  5. A success screen will confirm that you have been enrolled.

Once you have enrolled a computer/browser you will be able to login from it normally unless you clear your cookies. However, if you have a recent version of the Flash player from www.adobe.com, you can clear your cookies and not have to re-enroll because a backup of the secure cookie will be stored in a Flash object.

Challenge Questions

Your challenge questions allow you to access your account from computers that are not yet enrolled. They also allow you to reset your login password should you forget it or lock yourself out.

Updating Challenge Questions:

  1. Log in to Tellernet with your member number and password.
  2. If you are on an unenrolled computer/browser you will be asked to answer your current challenge questions.
  3. Click the User Options button on the left and then click on Challenge Question Setup.
  4. Choose one question from each set of questions, type in an answer to each and then verify your e-mail address.
  5. Click the Continue button and verify your answers before completing the update.

Secure Passwords

This superior security technology helps protect your accounts from unauthorized access by recognizing not only your password but your computer as well. So, it is important for you to also have a secure password.

Not sure what makes a good password—take a look at the following article on creating strong passwords. Then update your Tellernet password by going to User Options and clicking the Change Password link.
